Hi everyone, Paisley has an appointment for 5:00 today. I could have taken her in early this morning but I wanted to see my normal doctor and chose to wait. Please keep my baby girl in your prayers. Thanks everyone.......;)

Update on Paisley
 

Hi everyone, thanks for all the prayers. ;) We just got home and nothing was found wrong with Paisley. She ended up having three urine samples tested (one from using a catheter). All the samples came back negative so she then had an ultrasound and x-ray done and nothing was found on either. Her bladder did seem slightly swollen and my vet seems to think that she's in the very early stage of an infection or she could be having a silent heat. I never heard of a silent heat before but I guess dogs show all the signs of having a heat but they don't actually bleed. These were the only two things my vet could think of since all the tests, x-ray and ultrasound showed nothing wrong. I was given medicine for Paisley just incase an infection is begining. Hopefully this will go away very soon and I am so thankful that it seems nothing is seriously wrong. :D As long as she continues to feel ok and this stops she will be spayed on Nov. 1st :( Next Friday the vet is going to check her out once again and she will also have all her blood work done to make sure everything is ok before spaying her. Thank you all for the nice comments. I appreciate it soooooooooo much!!! Paisley and I send everyone tons of hugs. ;)

Oh, I just saw this now. I hope everything is fine with little Paisley. It's so worrisome when they act differently. We are sending good thoughts!

Well that's great news that she doesn't have any stones/crystals!! :) I hope she gets better quick!!

What good news! I'm so glad that it seems like whatever is going on isn't anything seriously bad. But I don't blame you a bit for being worried....it's so much better to catch something early! So glad you and your little family can relax tonite!!!
