Asking for prayers please
 

:sad: Very long story, but my littlest girl Gili got sick this yesterday morning with diarrhea and vomiting, I knew she was losing ground and I took her to our Emergency vet hospital where they gave her some flluids, compazine and I took her home..a couple hours later she was going down and with me being a nurse it was easy to see she was totally crashing, so back we went and she spent the night. Overnight I spoke with a vet and a different one this morning who didn't agree with the other vet. Bottom line is she is very very ill and her kidney functions are bad. Her stool tests were all negative and one vet suggestion doing a stem test for Addisons, the other one was more concerned with the kidneys:confused: She "seemed" so much better this morning and so happy to see me. I got covered in kisses, Since they are only open on the weekends, I had to take him them to our vet who said Not to panic about the addisons now. He is going to give her some more fluids and see if her labs come back better today. He didn't mention dialysis. I am just sick mostly mentally, but physically too from lack of sleep and anxiety. I told my boss I would come in after I got Gili over here again and I am not sure that I can:( and this is not going to go well at my work. My boss is one of the people who don't understand why anyone would ever want a dog:(
THe power of prayer is so strong, and I am asking you for 1 second of prayer for my little Gili. I am so scared.

How old is your little Gili? Poor little girl :( I'll be praying for her, and you are totally right, prayer is very powerful...
You should get a copy of the bloodwork so that you can look at where each of her levels are...

Oh I am so sorry your little one is sick. I hope the discover the problem and she is back home soon.

Thank you ever so much for all your thoughts and prayers. She needs it all. my vet has all the copies of the labs she had done and he is going to repeat them after some more fluids.

OMG, only 12 weeks and having all this happen to her. Have the Vet. run a bile acid test also. She may be a liver shunt baby. I will certainly say a prayer that she recovers from whatever it is really soon.

I was thinking the same thing...You might want to ask for a bile acid test...

Prayers are coming your way for you and your litttle Gili. I am sure when all is said and done youe boss will understand.....Gili's health is most important.
