Jakes cryng.... I just had Jake neutered today and he cries now and then then he also keeps moving around quickly from place to place as if he can't get comfortable....does this seem like what I should expect?....I hope he feels better tomorrow :cry8: |
Did they give you pain meds for tomorrow? Jewels cried and shook the night we brought her home. Poor baby |
Ohhhhhh poor baby!!!!! I recall the vet saying that it would be normal for Buddy to have a hard time getting comfortable on the evening of his surgery. The day of his surgery he did seem to be uncomfortable and he moved from place to place. I gave him his pain meds and this seemed to help. The day after the surgery he was doing great!!! I hope Jake feels better tomorrow!!! |
Thank you two for posting, I just needed some reassurance, I feel so helpless to help him, I did give him 1/2 a pain pill about an hour ago and he's sleeping now, thank goodness....Thank you again |
No, Duncan was not in any pain the same day he came home or the next. I would call the vets office, sounds like they didn't numb it enough.......ouchhhy poor poor baby !!! |

Poor baby. :( Hope he's feeling better soon. Hugs to you both. |
Aww, poor baby, I hope he feels better real soon! My Kalani whimpered off and on the first day but I kept him on the pain meds and as long as I was carrying him he was fine so I put him in his sling and just babied him that first night. The next day he was tons better:) |
I think its normal, and hope he's better soon. |
Spike got painkillers to take for a week (partly neuter, partly teeth removal), and he was walking a bit gingerly right after his surgery. He was pretty much back to normal the next day, but he did yelp a bit once when he jumped up - I think it pulled him a bit. Other than that, he was just fine. |
So glad you gave him pain medication. If you equate their surgery to human surgery, no difference. Incisions cause pain. Warmly, Deborah |
Howz Jake doing today? |
