My puppy is BLEEDING in her stool Hello, My puppy is about 9 months old now. She had had very good health untill the past few days. i am taking her in for a vet visit monday morning about her abnormal stool. i dont know know what this could be? Is this normal for a yorkie to catch? we have 2 other dogs. they are cocker spaniels and are up to date on all there shots. Chloe only has one more shot to go. But please help me and Chloe. Im so scared she isnt gonna be ok! <33 Stacey |
There are alot of reasons there could be blood in the stool like worms, coccdia, giardia, gastointestinal upset or parvo. It is best that she see a vet. It seems like at 9 months she should be all done with her puppy shots. Mine were done at 5 months |
There are lots of threads on here about bloody stool. It seems so scarey, but is a very common problem. Search for info on Giardia or Coccidia. My Sister in law had an infected Beagel. It is important to go to the vet, but it is treatable. |
Yes. She has to get her Rabies. She was born March/29/07. And the vet said we cant give her last shot untill she was a year old. i dont know if maybe they do it different down here or what. but i am so scared that she wont be ok. thats my baby. i love her to dealth. And what about her biting? how long will she keep that up? we have tryed telling her no. but she doesnt listen that good. my mom says its just cause she is still a puppy. but i dont know about that! <3 Stacey |
Mine didnt have any reactions to the rabies shot. The biting is a puppy thing she will outgrow it. For now every time she does it stick a toy in her mouth and say no bite. Good nuck |
I took Bella in this morning for blood in her stools. She had a nasty bout with giardia when we first got her. I didn't think it was that again but wanted to make sure. She's got quite a bit of bacteria in her so the vet gave her some anibiotics to clear it up. |
