OMG!! Chloe hits her head again!! Chloe always like to jump on my laps whenever I sit at the comp desk. But the problem is...she always hit her head against the desk hard (I have a wood desk) But she doesn't look like she feels the pain at all!! Is it normal?? Should I be concern? Is there any damage to her that I can't see since she always hit her head against something hard when jumping?? |
im sure after a while YES it could cause damage you should stop her from doing it put a chair next to you so she can easily get to you |

you are not a bad mom. just try to find a solution to the problem so that she doesn't keep "beating her head against the wall". try sitting closer to your computer so that gap is not there for her to jump up to. or if you know she is going to keep doing it ... put her on your lap before she has the chance to do it herself. |
Hun, from my HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, i suggest you not allow her to come near you while you're on the PC or simply grab her before she decides to jump, because Missy hit her head really hard against our coffee table and she literally knocked out----not breathing at all , eyes open, stiff as a rock, tongue hanging out, but the good thing was her HEART was still beating, normally . I don't think you ever want to picture that happening.. I had a panic attack witnessing it. And if I am not wrong, this has happened more than once? that's not good because it can be causing problems without you even noticing. |

Oh yeah, of course we did. We just didn't have a emergency vet number, or the vets that do house call so we called 911 right away and told them the situation and they gave us the emergency hospital number , unfortunately they didn't do home visits, so my parents and sister rushed to the hospital... my mother put holy water on Missy's face and put some in her mouth (yeah this may seem silly for some people) and she slowly woke up from her, i guess "shock" and wanted to go to the back seat with my sister. She was definiteily shakey, scared and weak, but eventually recovered back to herself within a month. It was trauma to the head. If it hits that right spot, something serious can happen- ( Missy's incident) :thumbdown |
