I Need Prayers For Connor! I left for work this morning before my husband, but as he was walking to the door to leave he found Connor on the floor having a seizure! He said Connor was flopping around on the floor and couldn't walk for a few minutes after it stopped. He sat on the sofa with him for about 30 minutes and just held him. He said he was fine before he left, but it scared my hubby really bad! Thanks goodness he works about 5 mins from the house, so he has already gone home and checked on him several times with no problems and he woke my dad up so he could sit with him. I called the vet and we will be taking him in regardless of whether it was an isolated event or not. They don't think it was low blood sugar, as Connor is 3 yrs old and this has never happened before. They did say to put him in an area that has low lights and few distractions, so dad is going to keep the lights out and noise down. I am a nervous wreck and probably will be pretty useless here at work, but I have to stick around, as I took off yesterday to take my dad in for medical tests. (Routine tests - nothing wrong.) I'm so glad my husband can get to him quick if we need to, but I really need your prayers! Thanks! I'll try to give updates as I get them from Roy. |
OH, I am so sorry to hear this. Thoughts and prayers for you and Connor!:) |

Poor Conner and poor daddy. They must have both been really scared. Will keep all of you in my prayers. Things like that really scare me 'cause Murfee is 3 and never had any problems but there have been so many sick babies on her lately, I check him over every time he sneezes:eek: Patty |
My prayers are with you and Connor. My sister and her 3 year-old yorkie Bogey (he's about 10-12 lbs) are going through the same thing he had his 4th seizure this year on Monday, his body paralyzed he had a seizure in which he was panting really hard (he didn't pass out or anything like that) and then afterwards he peed and threw-up. He seems fine now but he goes to the vet today for some bloodwork and hopefully they will find out why he has been doing this. After asking some advice from people on YT I told her she should def. look into getting an Acid Bile test to rule over any liver problems. Please keep us updated on Connor! |
So Sorry! That is so scary! Prayers here for Connor! |

Prayers are on Connor's way .:hands: :hands: :hands: |
What a scary thing for your husband and Connor. :( I hope the vet can set your mind at ease and it's nothing serious. I wouldn't be able to concentrate at work with that on my mind either. Take Care.... all of you and please let us know what the vet said. :) |
Update: I talked to my husband and he said Connor was fine each time he checked on him. Daddy said that he kept him close by. When daddy laid down to take a nap, Connor went to bed with him and slept really good. So no more seizures since this morning. I am leaving work now to meet my hubby so we can take him to the vet. Please keep the vet in your prayers that God will direct his eyes to see the problem, if there is one. Thanks everyone! |
Hallee will be two next month and she had low sugar about 3 weeks ago. We rushed her to the vet. She was shaking and would not do anything. She would not even look at you when you called her name. They gave her an IV and she has been doing fine ever since. This had never happened before and we have had her since she was 12 weeks. |
