Everything that happens is for a reason. You and your husband were given Lily so that her short, sweet life could be as full of love and happiness as was
possible. You were her gift and she was yours.

Oh, sweet Baby Lily was loved from the second she was born, by so many people. She lived her whole life surrounded by love and comfort. She did not know any different. She was truly blessed to have you all caring for her. Selina, you and your husband gave her the gift of love to the moment when she passed and beyond. She will always be in the hearts by all who were touched by her. My prayers are for you & Alicia and your families for comfort & peace.

Bless you and little Lily. She needed you to care for her until she went home and God knew you had the love and patience to give her just what she needed. It's all fine now. She's resting sweetly and you will always remember her.

I feel like such a schmuck because I just posted on one of Lily's photo threads that I wished her luck with gaining more weight and getting better. And then Jeanie K sent me the link to this thread. I'm so sorry to hear that Lily passed! She was such a little cutie, and I was hoping she'd be able to fight this. It says her mama is no longer a user, so maybe she went ahead and decided to leave :( , but in case anyone is still in contact with her, I think she is an angel for taking care of Lily the way she did. She gave of herself so unselfishly to give Lily everything she could for the short time she was here on Earth. Bless her whole family! And Lily...say, "Hello" to all my babies at Rainbow Bridge that have passed on through the years. I can just imagine you guys all playing together - with no ailments and unendless energy!

I hope you are still reading ... Sorry does not even begin to do justice to what I want to say to you. I am crying, incidentally, and poor Ozzie is trying to steady himself against my shoulder to kiss them away ...

YOU are an incredible person with a heart the size of the universe. I so admired the love, time, and persistence you put into caring for Little Lily.

God only takes those he truly wants and so Lily has been called to serve a higher purpose. Her job here -- having you open your heart to her and touch the lives of SO MANY OTHERS, tapping into their hearts as well -- is complete.

God bless you and your dear hubby. May you heal quickly and well.

i saw your post "over there" andd found this on YT. i am heartbroken over poor little Lilly. you gave her a chance at love and happiness her last few days on earth and you were such a wonderful mommy. i am so very, very sorry.

I am so sorry Selina! This just breaks my heart! Little Lily was very loved by you and you took so much care of her. God took her with him so that her little body can be with him always. I\'m so sorry dear :(

Lily\'s short life was made as comfortable and loving as any puppy on this earth, Feel Blessed that the Lord choose you to take care of her, love and comfort her and to be with her 24/7, He knew he could count on you, to give her all the love and care she deserved in her short life, for that you were the chosen one and you should feel honored. Blessings and Prayers for Peace in your lives, and for God to comfort you during this time, when your hearts are breaking.

God looked around his garden
And He found an empty place.
He then looked down upon this earh,
And saw your tired little face.
He put his arms around you
And lifted you to rest.
God\'s garden must be beautiful
He always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering
He knew you were in pain

I am so sorry to hear about Lily. I can\'t imagine what you must be going through. Keep your head up. She is in a good place now. And will never suffer.
