 I have a two year old little boy named Maxwell. He currently weighs 3 lbs but in the past has weighed almost 4 lbs. In the last couple of months he has begun to lose weight. He is a ferocious eater. Also, recently he has been losing his balance. When he walks it seems that his back end drifts to one side and at times he almost falls over. I have taken him to the vet and they have done two seperate extensive blood workups but they can not find anything wrong. If anyone could help me I would be so greatful. I do not know what else to do. | My s**tzu/pom mix started having issues like this at 16 1/2 years old. The emergency vet we took him to said a neurological virus that would go away in "hours, days, weeks, months, or years" He couldn't even stand up or close his eyes. I believe the woman was a hack and he had a stroke. However when Murphy was 3 he was paralyzed in his back legs, which i always think about when Vinnie flies off furniture. SO, it could POSSIBLY be neurological or possible the beginning of a slipped disk or other physical thing like bad hip. Get little Maxwell checked out, it doesn't hurt! |
