Update on Baby Yesterday I had posted about Baby vomiting that white foamy flim, well I took her in today to the groomers to have her anal glands checked and low and behold they were really full again. I had just had her groomed and the anal sac done about 3 weeks ago. She said that they probably had never been done before and so backed up. So if your Yorkie throws up that white foamy saliva, more then likely it's the anal glands. |
thanks for the info that is a good one to no. Thanks again for the post |
Poor little Baby.. I hope that now that the glads were once again cleaned she feels much better :( Please give her an extra hug from us today. Also thanks so much for the info. Something to keep in mind for all our little furbabies. :thankyou2 :goodpost: |

White foamy salive can also mean tonsilitis |
Poor baby...I didn't know that...and hers were full again after just being done ?? I would check with the vet to see what he says about it just to be safe...I remember one of my husbands cockers having it done and Mama Mia - holy cow I RAN out of the room -  but they normally don't need them done that often according to what the vet said.....but then some dogs are more prone to it than others... Sending Baby Get well wishes and I hope she's feeling better.. you must have been so worried..... |

I am so fortunate in that none of my dogs ever had to have their anal glands expressed. I don't know why some dogs are more prone to it. That is one thing I don't think I could learn to do and then do it on my own..no way...I love my pups more then life itself but...no, I couldn't!! Kathy |
