Poor little Carley-Bear. She is a cutie. I hope she pulls through. She seems like a strong little girl so I am sure she will be okay. |
I got chills when I read the title! I'm so sorry!! Prayers are being said for you and your baby. I'm so glad she will recover, but what a horrible ordeal to go through! Give her lots of kisses for us!! |
Iam So Sorry About Your Baby, You Are Both In My Prayers,my Heart Goes Out To You:) |
Oh my gosh! I can't imagine how you felt when Carly was hit and injured! Thank goodness she will recover! Not many do when hit by a car! Bless her sweet little heart and yours too! I'm so sorry this happened, but thank goodness it will be a good outcome! Give her kisses from Maddie, Libby and I and we send big hugs to you! Keep us updated...I'll pray for her recovery!!! |
I am so sorry about Carley, but so glad to hear she is recovering! I will keep all of you in my thoughts/prayers! |
Poor little darling girl. What an ordeal for all of you, and I know how much you wish it were you and not her. My heart just stops when my little girl hurts for any reason. I sooo want to make things better for her. There is power in prayer tho, and we're all praying for your little girl. |
How frightening! That's one of my biggest fear. Our guy are so small and fast! It would be so easy for a driver not to see them since Yorkies also are colored like the streets (sliver, black). I'm so glad she is pulling through. I'll be praying she has a quick and full recovery. Corinne |
Oh I'm sooo sorry, let me know if there is anything I can do. I'm sending happy thoughts and Alphy sends kisses. :animal36 |
Hey D - how is she today ?? I had her on my mind last night and hope she's resting comfortably....How are you holding up ?? |
Get Well Soon! |
I hope CarlyBear is doing better today and gets to come home soon. What a tough little girl to go through so much without even a whimper. Good luck with the moving and I am sure this is a bad time for Carly to have to be confined with you guys trying to get resettled and everyhting but hopefully all works out and Carly can go be to being Little Miss Rough and Tumble again soon. |
Thanks so much everyone for your kind words and all your good thoughts and support!! It means so much to both me and my husband!! Carley is home now, thank goodness! We are so glad to have her here, and we realize just how extremely lucky we are!!! We are having trouble getting her to eat and drink and especially take her pills. My husband has barely left her side, he just lays down beside her and talks to her. He has gotten a squirt bottle to squirt water into her mouth, and he has been grilling her chicken trying to tempt her to eat. He is being such a good daddy. They have her leg all taped up to hold it up into the socket. Her little front legs are shaved (Iv's) her butt is all shaved, and then that leg is taped up, she is quite the little mess, but I don't think I have ever seen anything more beautiful!! She is being such a little trooper too! As long as the leg stays in socket and she allows her pelvis to heal we are looking at about 6 weeks recovery time. If the leg doesn't stay in socket, we are looking at surgery. So far, she is being really good and not trying to get up too much. She has always been happiest in her daddy's lap, and that is not going to be a problem! Again, thanks everyone for your good thoughts and well wishes, ya'll are so great and we do so appreciate it!! So sorry to hear about your accident! Glad she's home now. How stressful it must be having people in and out of your house and then having to move! Remember to breathe! :D I hope all goes well for you. Your hubby is being such a good daddy - that is so cool! |
