Angel is Limping My parents have been looking after Angel for TCC and me, and my mom called me tonight to say she is limping. We went to see Angel, and she is definitely limping (it is her right front leg). They said that they noticed it after she got up from her nap after eating dinner, but she was fine before that. They did not see her do anything to cause it, such as jumping...etc., but I do not know if they were watching her constantly. She did run around when we were there. We touched and moved her leg around, but she did not seem to be in pain or pull her leg away. We are planning to make an appointment to take her to the vet tomorrow after work. Could it be a luxating patella? If so, could it happen suddenly or does something cause it? We hope it isn't anything serious. |
Sounds like maybe she just sprained or bruised it. Front legs are safe....no knees there! |
They are so quick, they can do things in the blink of an eye when you turn your back for just a minute, and it would be impossible to watch every single minute. Hopefully it's just a temporary injury, maybe it got twisted or something. |

Make sure that there in nothing in her pads, that will couse her discomfort. |
Angel is doing better. We took her to the vet, and the doctor could not feel anything wrong when checking Angel's leg. She also observed Angel walking on the floor. She noticed some hesitation but that's it. She just said to watch her and not let her run around like crazy for a week in case she does have some soft tissue damage. |
awwww !! i'm glad to hear that she is feeling better !! :p |
