Lola is getting spayed on 4/4 Please keep My Little Lola in your prayers tomorrow. I'm taking her to get spayed at 8 am. I'm a nervous wreck right now. I know everything will be fine, but please pray for her. Thank you. |
Lola, You are in my thoughts and prayers sweetie! She will be fine!!! Hang in there. Sending a big hug to you and Lola!! |
All the best. We're pulling for her. She'll be okay, but just be prepared for a few days when she won't be feeling too good. Pookie had her's on 3/26. She threw up the first night and wouldn't eat, then was able to eat some "mush" we make from baby cereal, half-and-half, strained baby meat and karo as well as ice cubes made from chicken broth, and some water mixed with karo from a syringe. After 36 hours she could finally eat her regular food. It took until this last weekend for her to be back to her mischevious little self again. |
The first afternoon/eveing Venus came home, she was pretty pitiful. Just layed in her bed. I picked her up to take her outside to potty, and she kinda wobbled trying to stand up. Next day she was back to her old self again, into everything once again. They can really make you worry about them that first night. With Adonis, he also had a baby tooth taken out. So it took him a little longer to heal, as he had several things done. Long as you get the pre-op blood work done, she'll do just fine. But that first night, you can really worry about them. |
Thank you so much for keeping Lola in your prayers. As of right now she seems to be doing fine. They also decided to take out her baby teeth (5 of them). She doesn't want any water, but she ate some chicken that was cut into tiny pieces. Did any of your babies moan a little? :dogzzz: |
Aw, I will be praying for her to have a very fast recovery! Moaning is normal, she's been through a lot. If she is moaning all the time you should probably call your vet but when Jaden was nuetered, the first day after he was home he would moan a little. They are feeling sore and uncomfortable but she will be back to herself very soon! :) |
She will be just fine. I know its very scary but just think the vets do that surgery everyday and she will do great |
