YAY for coughing up yucky stuff!!!! and once she's on the targeted antibiotics she'll do even better! with all those antibiotics i wonder if she needs to eat more yogurt? LOL

Thanks for giving us an update Dena! :thumbup: And please let us know what the test results show on her Pneumonia.

And you are such a good mommy girl :) I know you want to take away her pain and make it go away - we all do when our babies are sick :( But you are doing everything you can for her and I am hoping and praying that she will be all better soon! ;) :thumbup: She has been down a tough road but she is a little fighter and always pulls through ;) After all, she IS the little CHICKEN NUGGET! :p :D lol

Oooh, yogurt??? Will that help her?

I've been watering down some wet food for her so she gets the maximum amount of water in her system.

I've never feed them yogurt, what kind would you get?

Hey Brooke, thank you for the kind thoughts :D
I told Zoie that everyone is waiting for her to get better already, so I can post some new photos of her chicken butt.

We got her some all natural medicine and i really think it's helping her a lot. I know she's a tough nugget... they look so little, but they have a big fight in them.

The Dr said that in two weeks he lungs should be getting clear by then. We have an appointment to get more x-rays april 11th to see her progress.

awww I just seen this. I hope she gets better. I'm sure the meds will make her beeter quick! Can't wait to see new photos of her!

i really don't know if yogurt will help her but i know when us women are on alot of antibiotics its good to eat yogurt to prevent yeast infections.

i give morgan yogurt a few times a week anyway because she likes it. i just give her about a tablespoon of yogurt. Sometimes i mix her kibble into it if she's have a picky day.

i actually just looked it up and it does help prevent yeast infections in the ears LOL i guess it does help with that. It also helps to keep them 'regular' which is good as well

So the doctor called, and they have preliminary results for Zoie's tests.
So far she has nothing fungal, but she does have the bordatella virus growing in her lungs.
We should have the final results of the test in another week and half or so.

But she is doing better, playing with her big brother, not acting like a girly girl of course ;)

Shes been coughing a lot which is great, and still on her meds for another two weeks, then she starts a new kind of medicine after that for another 10 days. Poor Zoie she's been on meds for so long.

glad to hear its just bordatella that's floating around in there. Its gonna be a long journy to totally clean it out but it will get done. Good luck with her. hope she keeps playing with her big brother and doesn't feel sick again.

...Wookie has been vacinated against kennel cough right?

Awwww, I searched for this after reading our other thread. This really has been going on for a long time!:eek: You poor thing. How is Wookie doing through all this? How old is litte Zoie???
