Hit by a Car My Oliver, got hit by a car about an hr ago. He seems ok, I have checked him all over for broken bones. I am wondering about Internal Bleeding. He is sleeping now, I think he got a fright more than anything. I am going to call the vet tomorrow. Anything I should keep an eye out for tonight. |
Did the wheel actually run over him or did he go under the car and was not touched?? If the wheel actually ran over him, he needs to go to the emergency vet ASAP!!!!! Yikes! I hope your little man is alright. I'll say a little prayer for him. |
OH MY GOSH! That's so frightening! I'm glad he seems ok but I would think a trip to the emergency vet might be a good idea. Keep us posted please. |

either way he needs to see a vet Now ! |
I would have him checked out by a vet also |
Oh poor baby!! Please take him to a vet today!! Don't wait! You never know what is lurking that you can't see! Oh my. Please keep us posted! |
I would think "Better safe than sorry" and take him to the vet today. You don't know if he could have any internal injuries even if he is acting ok, he could be bleeding internally, have broken bone(s) or something else. |
Please take him to a vet, just to be sure he really is 100% okay. I'm glad that he seems to be fine, how scary:eek:!!! |
I sure hope your little guy is ok, sending prayers and hugs to you both! |
Please get him to the vet ASAP! I lost my little girl Katie this way. I would definitely take him to the vet ... better safe than sorry. Good luck. |
Howz Oliver doing today? |
PAws crossed that Oliver is OK.:aimeeyork |
I do hope you get Oliver checked out by the vet today. Better safe than sorry. We can't see what's may be bruised inside. Keep us posted. |
Good News, Ollie's Fine Hi everyone, Tks for your prayers. Sorry I haven't gotten back sooner but my keyboard hasn't been working. I think Ollie chewed thru the wire. Ollie was at the vet yesterday morning and everything seems fine. The vet was quite impressed how the incident didn't phase him. Thankfully someone is watching from above!! Can't imagine losing him!! |
