Cesars Food and Diarrhea? When Teddy was a puppy I would ocassionally stir in some Cesars wet food for a treat. He always loved it and digested it fine. After he turned one I never really fed him any wet food because I know its better for his teeth and healthier overall. Well, I bought a can of Cesars on Saturday and fed him mixed with his dry food. He ate SO much. He never eats everything in his bowl at one time. He Threw up like 2 times that day and I figured that it was because he overate. The next morning he had pooped everywhere. He had really BAD diarrhea. Today it still hasnt gone away and it looks so watery and i even saw a little bit of blood. Hes been eating very little what can I feed him to make his poop harden (sorry). HELP Please! He's just not himself :( |
Caesars is a low quality food but Mine eat it everyday and It has never given them diahrea. I would feed him chicken and rice and if it continues take him to the vet |
Mine eat it everyday and have no diahrrea. But it may be just changing thier food. |
Lily eat's the puppy kind and we have had no problem's. |
I have had the same prob. with EVERY wet dog food. (only the watery poo) I talked to my vet about it and he said it could be a chang of food and there tummies are just not use to it any more. BUt my girls get into are cat food every now and again and there fine, go fig???.. But After two days , my girl poo went back hard.. it just take time getting out of there little bodies. |
If you ate really healthy food for a long period of time and then shocked your system with a really unhealthy wet meal like he did... you'd be pretty ill feeling too! As long as he's drinking and eating, even if its less than normal... he's not feeling 100%... he should bounce back... give him a day or two to recover... if he gets WORSE instead of better head straight to the vet! But really, it sounds like it was "something he ate" ;) For me its Pasta with Heavy Cream Sauce! A favorite:D ... But it takes days to recover! lol |
