sigh, TIGGY's nipple is coming off

:( sorry , so much problems lately!!!!!!

i was trimming her underbelly when i discovered a lump and i saw it was her nipple, but it looked crusty and i tried to peel it off it looked like the whole nipple was coming off!

what should i do?

Ouch , Poor thing...It didnt get shaved off one time or another did it? Im not sure what could of caused that to happen, and I really dont know what to tell you other then keep it clean so it dont get infected and call your vet tomorrow.

sniff, thanks for you kind words, i'm schedule to see the vet soon because she needs surgurey on her right leg soon.

Awww poor baby! Ive never heard of that happening before, we learn everyday eh. I would take her to the vet, keep us posted please, and good luck!

IT needs to be soaked. and cleaned off...looks impacted..I do not think it is the nipple itself, but hair and infection around it...better to get it off and let the air dry it...nipples do not come off, but do get impacted with debris.

actually it does....when i try to peel it half way, she reacts to it like,"what you doing!!!!"

I'm sorry but I do agree with the others that it is an infection. Call your vet and ask what you should do to clean it off. I think warm water and peroxide would do it but def ask a vet. Hope everything gets cleared!

sorry that i got worried with this whole nipple thing.....


well friends, i did what many of you told me, i cleaned/wet it and then peeled it off

to my surprise it was like a shell of an egg. it was nothing! :lol tears i was so relieved! it was just crusty material, like many said probably an infection of sorts....

**the reason i was worried was because i saw a hole when about to peel it; i now know that it was because most of Tiggy's nipples are recessed......most of her nipples do that pop out...unlike my Chestnut, who's nipples are 3-4 centimeters pronging out!
