I'm so sorry to hear that Chuey is not well. He is so lucky to have found you to take care of him.

Racquel - I'm sorry Chuey isn't really better today. I think it must be good that his temp is normal and he is eating. Maybe he doesn't want to walk cause he is still a little weak. Gosh, let's figure this out and get him recovered so he can be home with you once and for all!!!! Still sending thoughts and prayers....

Hello everybody!

First of all, thank you so much for all your prayers and best wishes. I really think they are paying off. ;)

Chuey seems to be doing a little better! I am trying to control my excitement. I was crying a little while ago because I thought to myself, if for some horrible reason he didn't make it, just to see him a little better tonight was worth every penny and every sleepless night! I am so serious, seeing him better really touched my heart, because I believe he was touched by God. He's my little one pound 10 oz miracle! Please keep your prayers coming because they are working!

Dr has Chu on two diff antibiotics, and prednisone. He also had the immune booster while he was in the hospital. Dr ran extensive blood work and all is normal so far, (white blood cell count and everything). He also ran an adrenal gland test for Addison's sp? disease. If Chu doesn't get better from the meds from fighting pneumonia, then there could be something congenital wrong with him, i.e. neurological disorder or something. I really hope not and don't think so because Chu was absolutely fine before he got ill, but we'll see. As I begged before, please keep him in your prayers because he is getting better. Praise God.

I know that from this experience I have so much more faith in many things. I see things from a different prespective. Cherishing my family (especially my husband), cherishing Gods creatures, and being thankful for coming up with the financial means to help Chu. I'm in debt up the yingyang, but hey, no Starbucks for the rest of my life should pay it off! :)

So glad to hear Chuey is home a little better. Let's hope those test results come back negative and it is just taking a while for him to get completely better from his pneumonia. This little guy is a fighter and I will keep praying for a full recovery.
