I like the fact that the vet office was pro-active & called her to say they could come & see Ella! It's nice to avoid feeling like you've got to call constantly just to see what's going on. Here's hoping that the visit does all of them a world of good. C.J. |
Oh Aubrey . . . I am so happy that she is getting settled in at the new hospital and happy that her temp is going back to normal. Many many prayers going out for you and that sweet peanut of yours. Please keep us posted. |
Still praying for you. She does seem to be hanging in there. I am so glad you have been able to see her and be with her. I know at any time this could happen to any of us and it is so scary. Hang in there. |
I hope Ella is doing okay. Hugs to you and your bf. I feel bad for you and your bf. You both sound like you need to be comforted by one another, you both are hurting so bad. praying all works out. |
My prayers are with all of you too. That is so sad, and hard when it happens too. I am discusted with the breeder selling the puppy so young and so tiny. Shame on her. She should of been with her birth Mom for at least 2 more weeks. This was an accident and happened for a reason and hopefully the results are going to be very positive for Ella.......... As I PRAY |

I'm sorry, but how does that help to SUPPORT our friend in need here? I think that if you re-read what you posted, you'll see what I mean. It sounds downright mean to say that this happened for a REASON:mad: It's not helpful at this point to be re-hashing the age at which it's proper for a pup to go to their new home. It has nothing to do with what happened, it could just as easily happen to any one of us! |
Praying for your little one. I know how difficult it must be....try to be strong. Dogs pick up on all our emotions and if you pull it together with strength and positivity I know Ella will feel those vibes coming from you and your bf. Good Luck and also saying a prayer for the Dr. who's treating her to give him the wisdom to make sound medical choices for your baby. Godspeed!:) |

In my opinion, the thing that "happened for a reason" was that you found this precious little baby girl and she was meant to be yours to love and care for. She is very lucky to have you. This was an accident that could have happened to any of us. I don't mean to offend anyone, but this is just my opinion. |
My heart is aching for you. I have been off YT most of the weekend and I am so sorry to come back to find this tragic story. I'm so happy that you and your boyfriend are pulling together, you need each other right now and blaming him is not going to change the outcome for her. A few years ago, my husband backed a told cart over one of our yorkies. All the way to the Vet he appologized over and over. I told him I didn't blame him, it was an accident. I felt so bad for him cause he felt so terrible. Our baby survived. I'm praying that yours does too. |

Everything happens for a reason we may not like it or know why but everything does and it is hard to understand when it is a tragedy and this is a tragedy... and hopefully it will turn out to be a great blessing. Didn't mean to offend anyone on that but come on we are suppose to be praying and not arguing over what the reason is. ....... or why it happened it DID.... |
yes it did happen and no one can change that ....i agree all that matters is we pray for little ella, please i would never want to argue or fight with anyone, there is no reason for this, this thread has been so supporting for us ..and everyone has been so amazing and sweet and caring and i couldnt ask for anything more, all that matters is ella and her staying alive and fighting ....so please just keep praying ... I thank you all sooo much from the very bottom of my heart . |
ssshhhh people pls... this is not a place for this... i keep praying your baby will start getting better and will pull through this. I'll be checking the computer for updates... Give Ella a big hug from me and from Pepper |
I'm reading your posts and hoping for the best. My husband stepped on Lucy when she was little. She cried, I cried, and my husband was a wreck until she stopped screaming. She could not walk and fell to the floor, we were ready for the emergency room. Then, she got up and started walking. We now think he just stepped on her leg. She was 1 pound 4 ounces at the time. My husband is so in love with her (as I'm sure your boyfriend is), and she is in love with with him. Now, if she does not have her cat bells on my husband tells me to get them on her ASAP, he is worried he might not know where she. It is so easy to do. It is so hard when they are that little. We had many near misses. My heart goes out to you. |
Any updates? I have tried to keep up with both thread to see how this little one is doing...This breaks my heart. Praying for Ella and family |

I am praying for your little Ella. I am so sorry that his happened. Please give her disses from me. |
[SIZE="3" ] What I am about to say is IMO and belief, that things don't happen for a reason, I believe that when things happen they are a fact of life. We never know from one minute to the next what is in store, life is full of unpredictable moments, for each one we can only give thanks to the Good Lord for those that are good times and getting us through the tough ones. Sometimes it is through the rough ones that draw us closer to him and to one another, all in all we each are a gift to one another as well as our pets from the Lord and in the end hopefully return to be with him. Untill that time God has given so much knowledge to those in the medical field to help those in need, we thank him for the knowledge the vets have and pray they are successful in pulling little Ella through this. The following is my prayer for little Ella. Everything I said here is my belief and my feelings and is meant in all sincerity to you Aubrey and Will and Little Ella. Dear little Ella, I ask the Lord to give you the breath you need and his healing power flowing through your little body and if it is not meant to be that your family willingly accept the love that God has for you in not allowing you to suffer. I keep praying for you to be all well, and also pray for Aubrey and Will to have the strength whatever is to be. Patti and Jack (((((((((((Aubrey, Will and little Ella))))))))))))))))))))) |
Give her a gentle kissie from me, Aubrey:love: She's a tough cookie:thumbup: |
Sending more hugs and prayers. Your little Ella truly is a fighter. There is a children's book called "Enchanted Ella" and from now on that is how I will view her -- |
