A little worried about Mojo Okay, I try not to get too worried because when I do, I end up sick and a nervous wreck and Mojo ends up fine! HA! But, my daughter let Mojo out today for some play time and she "ran" back in to get a jacket. She couldn't find Mojo for awhile and when I went out there to call for him, here he comes. (I had been doing laundry downstairs, so she took him out for me). Well, I noticed that he had been eating something and I immediately knew what it was.........we live in the country and leave out scraps for the big dogs on the top of our compost pile.......well, just this morning, I had dumped some grease from ground beef and vegetables on the pile. I gave Mojo some of his upset stomache medicine, so I think he should be fine. He is acting fine, etc. My DH said "well, he should have shiny hair"...what the heck!!! --course, he is always trying to get me not to worry. I was just wondering......anyone know of any side effects to eating grease??? I was from ground beef w/ tomato sauce and vegetables. Just curious how grease would effect their tummies......and he has a sensitive one! Thanks! |
No worries, I will worry myself sick over Jaden too! Jaden has a sensitive tummy and one time I had a bowl of grease on the counter that spilled and I was running to clean it up but he jus started lapping at it before I could get it all cleaned up. I gave him some childrens upset stomache medication and he was fine. No tummy problems or anything. I'm sure mojo will be just fine:thumbup: |
Great! Thank you! My vet gave us some stomach medicine for Mojo......in case he eats something he shouldn't or gets an upset tummy.....so I think it will be fine....just needs to work its way through! YUCK! I'm glad that you had a similiar situation w/ Jaden - well, not really, but you know what I mean......good to know of someone in a similiar situation and that everything was fine! |
Awwwww Mojo, you silly boy! I bet if anything he will just have an upset tummy but sounds like you are all prepared for that. I hope he is feeling okay. |

Annika was throwing up (about 4 times) when we got ready for bed. One on my night shirt and another one on her blankie. I took her to the laundry room to get cleaned up (it did not get to her but I had to wipe her face down) and then she threw up again. It was then I realized that she must have eaten something that evening that she wasn't supposed to. My DH had to get up really early today to work so I ended up sleeping on the floor with my Annika in case she throws up again. She never did (I think she just got rid of whatever was in her system) but I was soooooo worried sick. She never woke up again until about 5:00am when my hubby suggested we both move up on the bed . . . besides my back killing me, she is completely her normal self again and rough playing this morning with Tigeree Tigeroo, but she sure gave me one heck of a scare.  |
I know what you mean, I always feel better if something has happened to Jaden and someone on here has a similar situation and their yorkie was ok. I'm paranoid about every little thing and sometimes I like he's thinking "Mooooooom, I'm fiiiiiiiiiiiineeeeeeeeee ENOUGH already!!" Quote:

These little ones do give us a scare.....but this time, I told myself.....it is nothing, just something silly......you have the medicine, give it to him and don't worry! HA! |
Awww, Mojo!!!!!! You know that stuff's for da big dawgs:laugh:! He might have the runs and/or vomiting. Just keep him hydrated, I'm sure he'll be okay:) |
Mojo should be fine with the medicine!!! He sure is a cutie! |
Thanks everyone! I knew he would be okay.......he hasn't had any problems! I guess, deep down I knew he would be fine, but I always worry about him....AND it is a blessing to have a group to talk to that helps ease my mind! Thanks again!!!! Love you all!!! |
Glad to hear Mojo was fine! :) I figured he would be since Jaden was, these little guys sure do stress us out over the silliest things sometimes though don't they? LOL |
