annie died
 

yesterday i had to have annie put to sleep:(
she couldnt breath and had mucus coming out her nose and mouth.
we took her to a new vet and he said she prob had an ear infection that had gone to her brain.
im so angry and upset that the pdsa didnt treat her for an ear infection, i told then thats what i thought she had as she had ear mites when we first got her in april.
the vet said she could of had distemper but she hadnt been around other dogs since may so she wouldnt of lasted till december.
but even though im 95% sure it was an ear infection im now worried about the other 3, tye i was told shouldnt have his jabs cos hes on steroids and zac hasnt had his cos hes had reactions in the past and brandi we didnt know if she had had hers so we waited till december so its a year since we got her and were gonna have them this month.
annie had been scratching her ear and had a head tilt to the side, then couldnt walk, then went blind the side of the ear she had been scraching, then i found a lump by the ear which they said was her tooth and it might be infected, then yesterday at the pdsa i showed then the lump again which was really big and they said it was a gland, but it felt just like fluid no hard lump in it at all, then that night it went down and she started breathing funny and had mucus coming out her nose and mouth so i think it was pus.
poor little mite would still be here if it wasnt for the pdsa:( :mad:

OH Nooooooo ! Oh man I'm SO SO SO SORRY !!!!! Poor little angel :( that\'s just awful ....I followed her story and this isn\'t the ending I wanted to see and you have my deepest sympathy .....I got chills reading this and my heart just breaks for you.:( :( :( :( :( :(

OH no I am so very sorry you lost your Anne

So sorry about your Annie. I can\'t even imagine how you feel. My thoughts and prayers are with you in this difficult time.

So sorry to hear about Anne. But I really do think us mom\'s always know what is wrong with our little ones. We just have a hard time treating it! I will pray for you and your family as you get over this sad loss.
