Please, Please contact me. Your baby sounds just like mine did. Mine Broke his neck and became paralyzed. He was diagnosed with AAI ( Atlantoaxial Instability) you can look this up on Petplace.com. Or you can come to our group that has some pups that have this disorder. My Babybear included. This is a congenital defect that goes undiagnosed a lot. My little guy was misdiagnosed more than once. Please contact me or come to our group. THe group name is Congenitaldogs@yahoo.com. Please if your pup has this it can be repaired. |
My Roxy I am having the same problem with my 3 yr old Yorkie. She yelps like she has been hurt and then runs to the opposite parent to be held. I have taken her to the vet twice and he could not find anything wrong. He gave her a shot of cortisone in her back twice saying that it could be from jumping off the couch. We don't let her jump anymore, but nothing has changed. She may be fine for a week, but then she wil yelp several times a day for two to three days. I am at a loss for what to do. She is not overweight. Help!!! |

I do wonder whatever happened to this little baby!! |
My 5 yo 3.5 yorkie Bruiser has similar thing happening, yelping out of the blue My baby Bruiser is doing the same thing. I took him to the vet immediately and he said he could find no joint or back or neck issues. He said he may have pulled a muscle or have a pinched nerve that only twinges occasionally without being picked up or being touched. I know he is having pain because he shakes afterward like he's afraid. Vet gave me anti inflammatory and said to keep him as still as possible, and to call back in a few days if the symptoms persist... Very worried... |
