Just wanted to add Rebound makes a good liquid diet: http://www.petfooddirect.com/store/p...ite=DDI%20Link |
What a horrible experience for you and Huck!!! I am soooo glad that he didn't suffer more trauma.....he really is a very lucky baby! Take good care of him and yourself.....I will keep you and Huck both in my prayers! |
omg im so glad he is okay i've had that scare we have horses and Gracie has ran toward them before it is veryy scary i pray he has a quick recovery! |
Oh what a horrible experience. I'm so gald he survived and I hope he continues to do well. I have horses also, I keep my guys femced, but occasionally they do manage to get out, and the horses are my biggest fear. Our late yorkie used to get in there when the horses were eating, and the mare would litterally try to stomp her. she was so quick she always managed to avoid her hooves, but it scares me to death. |
I am so glad Huck is going ot be okay. Your post was very difficult for me to read and I am so relieved he is ok. I cannot imagine what you are going through! Big Kisses to you and Huck! |
what a story, these little ones have no fear, thank god he will heal in time... rebound is great but wouldnt suggest to use it as a constant diet..You might want to pulverize his normal dry dog food mixing it with warm water until its soupy for his daily diet. Please keep us posted on his progress |
My entire family is thinking of you and your family this holiday season Huck. Rest easy little man and you'll be back w/ us all soon enough. I'm glad to hear that your caring and patience paid off. This could've happened to any of us. Best wishes from my furry/feathered family to yours! |
OMG!! I am in tears right now after reading that post! It is all too real for me because we had a Shih-tzu that weighed 7lbs that stayed w/ my inlaws while we were in Disney World a few years ago. They raised horsed at the time too. Buddy (our Shih-tzu) was outside w/ my MIL and she didn't have him on leash....he is good, but not around horses or cattle because he had never been by them...anyways, he got in the pasture, the horse trampled him or something and we got a call on our cell in FL that he had broken ribs and etc. He ended up being fine too! Thank the good Lord...just broken ribs, broken tooth, body like cast, etc. Soo sad!!! Sooo scary! Anyway, I am soooooo glad (soooooooooooooo glad) that everything will be okay! I know what a scare that was! I would have done the same as you! I know I would have been in shock and been a hystrical mess!!! Mojo and I are sending hugs and kisses!!! We hope little Huck will be back to normal self soon! |
You poor thing, that had to be really difficult to type! You and Huck are certainly in our prayers! Keep us posted on his recovery! |
Ohhh hunny....of course my prayers are with you and Huck at this time.....What a tough little guy. Please give him EXTRA hugs and kisses from me, Louie and Bella, and we will be praying for him to be back to his bright happy self again. :getwellso :hands: :hands: :hands: :hands: :hands: :hands: :hands: :love-hug3 :big_hug: |
Aww, what a traumatic day you had! I'm sure it will be a stressful month or so until Huck recovers some more. He's already proven he's a little fighter just by being alive right now. Lots of Yorkie prayers to your little man and your family! |
Reading your story my stomach was in knots and I was crying, I will pray for your little guy and I pray for you as well. May God bless you both. Please update us. |
Oh my goodness, you must of been so scared:( . I'm so happy he survived though, he's a strong little guy and I thank God he's okay! Please give him a hug from me. |
