Bella Wont Stop Shaking hi everyone....so this just started 2 days ago...bella doesnt have to go potty she has eaten and drank, but all she does when she isnt sleeping is cries and shakes. sometimes she plays with her toys....she has always cried, but the vet said it was bc she wanted attention. but now she has started the shaking, and i am getting concerned. could it be bc she has worms? i had stool samples checked and they said no worms, and i have been looking at her poop but i dont see tapeworms. she is still dragging her butt, but i fixed her anal glands. i dont know. any help or suggestions would be great. thanks soo much....:( |
I am sorry your baby is feeling bad..... I wish I had an answer for you... |
Jaden shakes sometimes too, I think its a nervouse issue. I knwo he has seperation anxiety, maybe she does as well? Sometimes the shaking isn't constant, it goes on and off every few seconds or so and eventually it will stop. Sometimes he does it when he's excited, like when its time to eat, and other times he does it when something scares him or when he thinks I'm leaving. I've found wrapping him in a fleece blanket and holding him and going "shhhhh" very lightly in his ear seems to calm him down... Best of luck to you with your furbaby! |
Mya was crying to me today and wanted me to come downstairs...There was her favorite toy at my husband's feet. I asked him if he was ok, he had just hurt his back. He said he was but not throwing Mya's toy fast enough for her, because he was hurting. So I started playing with her and she was happy. I could of just said “NO” or “Knock it off” but she deserved some playtime. If she really wants something she will shake. Mya also picks up our emotions. If we are stressed (Our daughter moved back home and took over the lower level of our home and so our home is upside down right now and we have no idea where half of our stuff is) Mya will pick it up the stress, the pain we are feeling, and the anxiety. I wondered if she fetched me to also let me know that my husband was not feeling well. She has done this for the cat and our late dog Comic. She will get nervous if we are nervous but...she also, as I mentioned, will shake from excitement, the thought of playing or going out will get her going, mostly she cries. If Mya sees me putting make up on and getting dressed up, she will think I am going out, usually true, and wants to go out with me. It was so sad when she jumped in to her travel bag the other night. She is not allowed in our local bowling alley because "she is too much distraction" to those trying to get strike from everyone fussing over her. Mya actually really likes to groomed now, combed, brushed and fussed over and told she is so pretty. Yes Yorkies are high maintenance dogs, which is why I chose one. *giggle* She will shake in her bag if a small child gives her lots of attention, because she wants to play with that child. Most think she is scared, not true. That being said, you can tell Bella “NO”. To try and stop the behavior. Just like children, sometimes dogs can have bad timing. Mya cries in the car because she wants to sit on my lap. I tell her “NO” and she stops. You could try that. |
thanks....that is probably what it is.....bella lovessssss attention....when i am not loving her or paying attention to her she freaks out....i had put a bow in her hair....my boyfriend said when he took it out she stopped crying...maybe it gave her a headache. anyways...good to know she prob isnt sick....just loves attention.....which i dont mind...hehe |
How old is Bella? Gracie has started shaking and following me around, crying. She is just over 5 months old. I was told that a second stage of fear strikes at about 6 months. Just like when they are first taken away from their dog mom and fear being abandoned by their pack, they go through a second stage fearing they will again be abandoned, only this time it is you and your family that is their pack. As long as she checks out OK, I would just try to ignore the behavior. Give her attention when she is not crying. Gracie does shake when she gets anxious about something. |
