He has been sneezing alot too. Its night time here, no vets open, what is it? im terrifyed something will happen to him! we have been looking after him so well! he hasnt drank much today, i dont think its kennel cough as he hasn't left the house or garden, please help im scared!!!!! all my babie shave been mixing with him and they are fine, he has no allergies that we are aware of? please someone help??? |
Ive always heard green mucus is a sign of an infection |
the green/yellow is an infection. Awe, I feel so bad for you and him! The inverted sneezing may be because of a tickling sensation from the dripping and draining. However, all of this could really stress the poor old guy out. I'd try wiping that nasty drainage (maybe even use an infant mucus sucker on him...yuck, I know). Try to keep him calm and get him to a vet as soon as you can. |
Thanks im going to try and find a vet,i feel so bad that this is happening when he is in my care, i have been wiping the mucus away with cotton wool balls and warm water, he will be ok wont he? |
I am sure he will be fine but he may need to be on an antibiotic |
Hope you got to a vet and he's doing better. |

Aww poor Max. I hope it's nothing serious. Sending prayers that all goes well at the vet's. Hang in there Max, you'll feel better soon. |
Awww I hope Max feels better real soon. Love and prayers to him. :hands: :hands: :hands: :hands: :big_hug: :getwell: :hearts-en |
My neighbor just took on a 17 year old Mintr Schnauzer. Her owner passed and the poor dog would have been put to sleep if Marsha didn't take her (no family members wanted her). I let Marsha's other dog out every day and now take care of Heidi too. I am really feeling for you and how scared you are. Marsha asked if I'd watch both dogs for her while she goes away for 10 days. I said yes but am so stressed out because of Heidi (she even has to be carried in and out of the house to go potty and she has accidents inside). I hope your Max gets meds that have him feeling all better in no time. |
I am so sorry to hear about your baby. We are thinking about him! |
POOR MAX...:angel2dl: :getwell: :goodluck: |
I hope Max is doing better! Did you find a vet to take him to? |
