Me-Me is being rushed to vet Me-Me is being rushed to the vet right now. She has something stuck either in her jaw or throat. I think it's the jaw. She was playing in our upstairs and found something she should not have. I'm so worried. The vet is so close. Her mouth is so tiny that I couldn't get my finger into look. I'll update you when the doctor is through with her. Please pray for her to be ok. |
Prayer's coming your way for Me Me. These little devils are always into something. Please keep us informed. |
The vet said they couldn't find anything so they are xraying her to make sure. I wonder if it's going to turn out that she bit down on something and put her jaw out. Thank you for the prayers..I'll post when she gets home. |

Prayers coming your way!! |
Our first Yorkie did the whole coughing & gagging routine but we couldn't find anything in his throat. We held him down on his back and my husband opened his mouth and looked in with a flashlight...turns out when he was licking his chops he ended up with his facial hair in his mouth, down the side of his gums along his teeth and into the side of his throat and it was making him hack and cough...he couldn't swallow it or get it out and it was really hard to see. After that we trimmed the hair on his muzzle so it didn't happen again. Riley also did this in Florida. He chewed on an oak leaf that was like leather and got a piece of it stuck in his throat. We couldn't reach it so he coughed and hacked until it worked it's way out or finally went down with some of his food. I hope it turns out to be something simple with Me-Me. |
Me-Me's in my prayers. Hopefully it's nothing serious, & she'll get well very soon. |

Good news! Me-Me just got home. The vet found a long piece of a friendship bracelet that is made of yarn stuck in her jaw. The x-ray didn't show anything because it wasn't metal. There is a knot at the end and it's about one and a half inches long. They said if she starts acting like she swolled more they will have to operate, but I think they got it all. The adorable little stinker has made it up to three pounds finally. Fuuny though, since she is the size of a three month old puppy they sent home puppy literature. Me-Me is almost a year and a half. lol I'll keep this vet as my back up vet. |
Thank you all for your prayers and comforting words. I love this little girl so much! :) |
Great News ... Great Vet!!! |
I think I'll use her more. My regular vet is about 20 miles away. He is one of the best. Plus there is no office charge. With four yorkies it's great. Today cost me 135.00, but was all worth it. I am so grateful to this nice vet in our area. I'll use her again. |
