Surgery is tomorrow...
 
Awhile back I posted about my moms dog Baby. She has been having problems with her anal glands and they found a cyst on her anal gland. Tomorrow morning she is having the cyst removed. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. Surgery is always so scary. :(

Good luck to the puppy and my prayersand good thoughts are with you, your mom and of course the doggie. I'a already nervous b/c Jerome is being neuter on the 8th of September, like you said. Surgery is always scary, anyways, good luck!:hands: :hands: :goodluck: :goodluck:

Thanks Sis for posting and asking for prayers, its so hard to do this as im sure she will be sore and man i hope she dont act like she did after the one surgery**I said never again....and look.....i only want what is best for Baby Gene and what's going to keep her with me a long long time....:animal-pa

Hello there...Can I ask you a Question if you won't mind? I'm really interested to know how your Mom found out that her furbaby has a problem with its anal glands. Did she find out only when the vet examined the dog or did she noticed something unusual about the dog? Pls. , it would really help me a lot. My furboy, Ceasar, would sometimes drag his rear on the carpet even just after expressing his anal glands. I would really appreciate your help...:)

Everytime she would get Babys anal glands cleaned they would fill back up really fast. She also was producing that awful smell. The vet went to clean Baby and felt around and he felt the cyst. It isn't real big but it is getting in the way. Baby is also leaking a lot back there. Mom keeps blankets on her furniture and just about everyday she is washing blankets because Baby has leaked on them. I sure hope it's not something your furbaby is going through. It's sad to see them like that.

Anytime mom! I know that this is for the best. ;) We have to think of what's best for Baby, not us.

Ohhhh...bless her sweet little heart! Count on prayers from me! I love that little Baby Gene! Hey...a while back when you thought she was wetting herself, was that from the anal glands instead? I will be thinking of you all and praying that all goes well for her. I hope she isn't miserable or sore after the surgery. Hugs to you...all involved...and kisses to Baby Gene!!! Keep us updated!!!

They said her wetting herself was her hormones. She is taking a pill once a week to help with that. It seems to be helping her. Thank you for your response and your prayers!

Poor little Baby Gene, going thru so much right now. Prayers for Baby's a sucdessful surgery tomorrow. Hope she starts feeling better soon.

Baby made it out of surgery alright. She looks so sad though. She will walk a little and then just sit down and cry. Mom feels really bad. They kept the blankets on the furniture and I noticed when she got up there was a little blood where she was sitting. Mom called the vet and they said keep an eye on her bottom and if it gets worse bring her in. :rolleyes: Hopefully the pain goes away soon and she has a healthy recovery. Thanks for all the responses!!
