I'm So Sad
 

Hi Guys,
My Roxy Had Pups Last Thursday And The Runt ( I Think Thats How U Spell It) Weighs Only 2.5 Oz And She Was Doing Fine, Not As Strong And Healthy Looking As The Rest But Was Deeding Well, So I Thought ( I Was Also Bottle Feeding Her In Between) Anyways, Today She Didnt Want To Eat At All And Was Having A Hard Time Breathing, I Could Tell Something Was Wrong So I Took Her To Emergency And She Is Going To Be Hospitalized For 2 Days, She Is Dehydrated Due To She Hasnt Been Eating As Well As She Should Of But Well Im Just Praying That She Will Get Better And Make It. I Feel So Sad For Her She Looked So Weak So Hopefully They Can Save My Little One. :(

That is so sad. I hope she makes it. You did all that you can do the rest is up to nature.

Out of my litter I had one that wt was almost 1oz he did not make it he was growing like crazy and had his tail dock and declawed and he pass two days later all the other ones are fine there wt was 2oz at birth.

Thanks Everyone, I Am Really Hoping For The Best Though Expecting The Worse. It Would Be Sad To Loose Her Especially Since I Havent Had Much Sleep This Past Week In Order To Bottle Feed Her Every Two Hours. I Got Very Attached To Her Already :(

Well, if the power of YT prayers doesn't help, then nothing will. So, we're all sending her our prayers to get well and grow into a great big and strong yorkie! :)

JUST AN UPDATE, WELL IT SEEMS THE PRAYERS ARE WORKING. MY LITTLE ONE IS DOING A LOT BETTER PER THE VET AND SHE IS REALLY FIGHTING FOR HER LIFE. SHE SAID I WILL MOST LIKELY HAVE TO FORCE FEED HER BUT SHE IS AMAZED AT HOW WELL SHE IS RESPONDING. IM SO HAPPY AND WANT TO THANK ALL OF YOU FOR THE PRAYERS YOU SENT OUR WAY. HOPEFULLY SHE WILL PULL ALL THE WAY THROUGH.:aimeeyork

I am so happy to hear your tiny baby is doing fine. I'll bet you will be keeping that one for your very own. I know I couldn't bear to part with her. I hope she continues to do well & grows fast.

So on our way to the vet today, just 2 hrs ago, they called me and said that they took her off her the oxygen and she is having a hard time breathing on her own. Per the Vet it is to soon to know if she has a respiratory defect or if its just a matter of more time hospitalized. It was a very though decision and after a lot of thinking and lot of tears, my fiance and I decided it would be best to put her to sleep :( . If the vet could of at least assured us that after another few days she would be able to breath on her own or a good prognostic at this point we would of continued the treatment, but its just not fair for us to keep trying to keep her alive with tubes in her mouth feeding her and oxygen. I feel extremely heartbroken, i really did think she would pull through but i spent $1200 in 2 days trying to give her a chance in this world and with no guarantees i dont think another $1200 or $3000 can fix her lungs, or whatever other problem she has and we are just not able to know right now. I hope i made the right decision, becuase just the thought of her fighting for her life these two days really kills me. Thanks everyone for your support and prayers.

I'm so, so sorry for your loss. I know that has to be a very difficult decision to make and I hope that if I'm ever faced with making that kind of decision that I can be as strong as you have been. You did everything that you could. My thoughts are with you and your momma Yorkie.

I'm sorry you have to put her to sleep, but your right, it's not fair to her and she would be better off, I hope she is not in to much pain. bless her little heart, you and your family is in my thoughts and prayers.
