Please Advise! Napoleon is 5 months old and his baby teeth are falling out like crazy, anyway I know this is normal however he is BARELY eating anything. He doesn't eat the ceasers w/eukanuba at all and I even mushed it up into little pieces(not the eukanuba, just the ceasers). I gave him a little bit of balogna, and he ate it. I'm thinking of buying some kind of gerber's baby food so that he can at least eat something I feel bad for the little guy. Please help out. Thanks in advance, Dmitriy |
I can always get mine to eat the gerber meat sticks for toddlers. You could also try feeding boiled chicken and rice. Another thing i do to try to get mine to eat is to mix their moist food with some cottage cheese. |
That's pretty normal. Kacee even had a couple of days when she just laid in her bed. I knew what was the matter with her and I would put a wet washcloth in the freezer and put it on her gums and give her ice chips to eat. She was miserable. The good thing is that it all passes. You could buy a chicken breast and boil it and cut it up into tiny pieces. Some will eat the baby food and some won't. Just depends on your yorkie. Just be sure there is no onion powder in the baby food if you try some. |

You might try massaging his gums and be sure he has a safe Chew toy. If he isn't eating, they you might want to give him some Nutri-Cal just to be on the safe side. |
Misha did this also. Finally I added water to her kibbles and softened them up. Fed them to her one at a time acting like I wanted them also, yum yum. She ate everyone I gave her. I'm sure it's like a baby teething with pain. Make over her a little more and try this (if you have the time) it works. |
