Please pray for my lil Vash 3 Attachment(s) He broke his leg last night playing with my mom's pups when he took a tumble down the stairs. I just admitted him into the hospital and he needs surgury to pin it back together. He's such a lil trooper. He still tried to follow me around the house. My poor little baby. I feel like such a horrible mother. I can't seem to stop crying. My poor baby. Please pray for him. We're getting an orthopedic specialist to do the surgury on him. It doesn't matter how much it costs. I just want to see him smiling and jumping around like a jumping bean again. I bawled like a baby when they took him and he licked my hand as if he was comforting me. Please keep him in your prayers that he'll have a speedy recovery and he won't be in any pain. I feel so horrible. I haven't eaten since it happened last night. |
Oh poor baby. What a little trooper. I'll keep him in my prayers, I'm sure he'll be back to running around in no time :) Don't feel like a bad mommy; it was an accident! Give him lots of hugs and wet licks from Schatzi :p |
awww I'm so sorry that this happened to Vash. Don't worry he will be up and running around in no time at all. Accidents happen to even the best of moms, so don't beat yourself up over it. You are doing all of the right things for him right now and I will keep him in my Prayers. Coco sends you and Vash loads of kisses |
Poor Vash, we are thinking about you and sending lots of well wishes your way! |
OH NO ! Sending little VASH Prayers right now - that must be so scary and try not to beat yourself up - accidents happen so fast. I hope he can recover completely with no after effects and All the best to you ! HUGS TO YOU BOTH !! |
Poor little sweetie!! Get well soon Vash! :getwellso |
Oh no, pooooooor baby!!!! Poor Vash! I will definitely be praying for his swift recovery! |
Where on Long Island are you? What Ortho Specialist do you go to? My Roxy has Grade 3 Luxating Patella and the first Ortho Specialist (on Rte. 110 in Farmingdale) wanted $6000.00 surgery (2 legs). I am going for a 2nd opinion to the www.vetspecialist.com in Westbury. They are HIGHLY recommended by a friend who is extremely proactive with animals and pet rights, etc. Their est. price (over the phone is approx. $3500 - 2 legs). Anyway, BEST OF LUCK and I am just curious which Ortho Specialist you have him at? Thanks, Hug and Kisses and a SPEEDY RECOVERY from Roxy & TJ & (Mommy Nicole) |
POOR VASH!!! :( I hope all goes well and he recovers very soon! |
Thank you all for your kind words & prayers. I'm hoping everything will go smoothly. TLC: We took him to his regular vet which is in Queens, NY. And they have a specialist that they work with that is out of one of the larger Vetrinary hospitals in LI. The name of the hospital slips my mind at the moment, but he's supposed to be an excellent Dr. |
I am sorry about your baby. I hope everything goes well. Don't be so hard on yourself. It wasn't your fault. |
Vash will be fine, Suzie hon!! I will think happy thoughts, but I know Vash will be just fine! It takes time and patience, but the leg will heal. The biggest struggle will be keeping him quiet so that the healing can happen! Good luck with that! I got Wosie a front pack so I could carry her with me everywhere and still have my hands free. That way she got lots of rest and was with me all the time. But now she seems to think she HAS to be with me all the time, lol! That's OK, I love her so much I don't mind! Get well soon, Vash baby!!:getwellso |
Sending you both Lovenlight ...hang tuff |
Poor Vash, hope all goes well! |
Accidents happen all the time. You're doing everything right for him, so stop beating yourself up. He will heal and be back to his self in no time!! Give him lots of hugs and kisses from us all. |
Lots of good wishes and prayers for Vash |
Oh I'm so sorry! They will fix him up real good. I can't believe how much he looks like my Cali. |
Update!!~ Thank you all sooo much for your happy thoughts & prayers. I just got a call from the Doctor and she said his surgury went superbly. He is a bit groggy from the anestheia, but other than that everything went well. His post operation x-rays look wonderful and he although they want to keep him overnight for observation, he will be able to be discharged tomorrow afternoon. I'm so happy. Thank you all again for such love & support. That's why YT is one of the best communities out there. Thank you all again so much. Your kind words lifted my spirits in a difficult time for me. |
I am glad the surgery went well. I have experienced this same thing and if you have any questions feel free to pm me. Lola had her surgery 3 months ago and she is doing great. She has a plate and 5 screws, but she adjusted quite fast. I am so sorry about Vash . I know he will heal fast, and be back to normal soon. |
OH GOOD !! keeping him in my thoughts and hang in there ! The scary part is over - the hard part is to come - how do you keep a little yorkie CALM and off their feet ? :) Best wishes to Vash and praying for a speedy recovery !! |
I am so happy things went well ~ |
I'm so glad to hear that the surgery went fine! My prayers are with the both of you for a speedy recovery. |
