Tucker Update! 4 Attachment(s) Tucker is finally home from his surgery, and doing good! It's virtually impossible trying to keep him still though!! Anyone have tips on how to keep him from jumping??? Right now he is really sleepy and groggy. He has 23 staples in his little tummy!! We have to wait 2 weeks before they come out, oh boy... lol. Thanks for all your support guys! Here are some pics of the little trooper! |
Oh poor baby! Glad he's home. When Cali had her surgery I spent a lot of time on the floor so she wouldn't want to go up on anything. Also she can't jump up on anything without stairs. After a few days she was going up and down the 2 steps but she kind of took it easy. Just try and lay on the floor with him and gently play with a toy . |
I am so very glad that he is home. Sending your little love a hug and get well wishes. |
Lots of hugs and kisses to you Tucker! What a brave boy you are!!!!! And yayaya, in 2 weeks you'll get those stitches out and you will be as good as new!!!! What a trooper you are!!!!!!!! |
I am trying to keep Jazz resting too.... When my mom's Yorkie tore is ACL, he had a long tough recovery, but when he finally was better and wanting to get around, we put his harness on with a short leash on him and tucked the handle of the leash under a chair leg or something on the ground where we were. This gave Alfie limited mobility on the floor, but he was happy to be where "we" were, but confined... Just an idea... Gave him bones and stuff for him to chew on... kept him busy until it was sleepy time...:) :) Chel |
Glad he's home! It's going to be a long couple of weeks trying to keep him settled down. I think jumping up and down off things is the main thing you need to worry about it. |
