Yeah Tucker! Keep us updated on his further progress. What a relief!:woof: |
Poor Tripp! Aww my poor baby! I'm sure Tucker isn't very happy right now being at the vet's in ICU, but Tripp isn't too thrilled either. Both Tucker & Tripp normally sleep on the bed, but Tucker didn't last night, which I thought was weird to begin with. But as I sat here on YT Tripp got off the bed, sniffed out the pillows on the floor, scratched around for a minute, and plopped down right where Tucker was last night! I'm thinking he misses his big brother, poor baby! I have a feeling a very tail-wagging face-licking reunion is in store on Saturday! |
That's GREAT news!! How relieved you must be   :) :) Wishing Tucker a speedy recovery :getwellso :hearts-en |
Megan, I missed your original post about Tucker's Liver Shunt. What a GREAT day it was for you! I am so very happy to hear that Tucker's surgery was successful..... and what a treat it was that the vet allowed you to stand in on the surgeries. You know, that in itself speaks volumes about the practice..... they CARE! Sounds like Tucker is in the very best of hands! Quote:

What wonderful news! I will continue to keep him in my prayers for a speedy recovery! Way to go Tucker! |
Another Update Update: The vet called at 10a.m. to let us know how he is doing. She said has eaten, and he has calmed down a lot (he was asleep when she called). His temperature and blood pressure are both normal, and if he continues to stay calm and resting that he can for sure come home tomorrow!!! I miss him so much and can't wait! |
Great news! Go Tucker!! |
What wonderful news, Way to go Tucker. Mac & Mellie send him lots of puppy hug and kisses. |
:yelrotflm :yelrotflm :yelrotflm :yelrotflm :yelrotflm :yelrotflm :yelrotflm : Good going Tucker! Soon you will be home with Mommy and Tripp. What a strong and determined little fella. Kisses and Hugs from Marhat and Soon-To-Be Furbaby, Jasmine |
What wonderful news! Do you know when Tucker will get to come home? |
Update: Tucker is home!! He is sooo tired and I think a little put-out with me :(. He has 23 STAPLES!!! The incision is huuuuge! I can't wait for the next 2 weeks to be over so he can get them out! We are having to watch him like a hawk so he doesnt jump on the furniture and hurt himself. He is so sleepy that he can't sit up straight, right now he is leaning up against me in the chair nodding off, poor baby! Thanks for all your support guys, I'll keep you updated and put up some pics soon. Tucker sends kisses! |
I'm so glad Tucker is home with you :) He needs lots of love and rest! YAYAY Tucker! Simon and Hallie send lots of kisses to you sweet boy! |
:) Oh Megan, I'm so happy to hear he's home! Give him very careful hugs and kisses from Tango and Gypsy, I'm sure you will enjoy spoiling him until he's feeling all better. :) |
Megan, That is "Tuckerific" news, he is home and now the slow recovery starts!! 23 staples... OUCH... What a tough cookie!! I am sure that he will need alot of care and you are the perfect Mommie to get him back to health... I sorta know what you are going thru right now as I just had Jazzy's LP surgery this past week. Just yesterday her bandages came off, and today has been interesting on how to keep her calm and resting. Amazingly, she wants to use her leg and I know she shouldn't, so I am really having to confine her... I did not think she would try for a week or so... I know it hurts her I can tell on how she acts as she tries to use her leg, but she is stubborn... I dont want a failed surgery with this.... I will continue to keep Tucker-roo in my prayers... Jazz sends hugs, licks to Tucker... I am glad everything is going as well as it is, let's just keep it that way... right?!?!? Happy Day to you all!!! Chel & Jasmine |
That is great that Tucker is home! |
