It could be alot of things but you defintely need to see a vet. You never want to let diahrea go on for more than 2 days and not see a vet. They can dehydrate. The vet will gve you meds to clear it rght up |
thanks, i am going today to the doctor, michelle |
I hope she is doing better. Diarrhea can be a scary thing if it goes on.. Chachi's mom is right, they can dehydrate very easy. I had a Yorkie that dealt with bouts of colitis, they would get brought on by stress or and boy was that tough to get rid of even with med's... I hope this isn't anything more than a bug and some medication to help bind her back up... Keep us posted. |
Update How is she now? What did the vet say? |
Beamer has the same problems. What did the vet say? Beamers mom |
Kinda OT, but to prevent dehydration does anyone ever give there dogs pedialite? I know when I get the flu and am sick, I drink it (its the only thing I can drink w/o coming back up). Since it works for me and I'm definitly not a child, I was wondering if it would work for dogs too. |
