Tiggy just had a bortellada shot today..... when i carry her near her stomach(near where her shot spot was) she whimpers really really loud. i was wondering if this is normal, my other babies never had this before; they usually act normal But today, a vet TECH did the shot instead of my usual vet. He was a nice guy but he seem to place the shot so close to the spine area Now i don't know if the bortellda shot is suppose to be that close Anyway; thanks for your help people! And i found out her poo poo had a piece of grass like many said! thanks again! |
Jewels was doing that too after the bordatello but was better by the next day and I bet she wiill be too |
sometimes they are alittle sorry at the injection site. it really doesn't matter where the vaccine is placed as long as its sub q. most are placed in the scruff or shoulder/hip area because there is more skin located there. I'm surprised she got the bordatella shot instead of the nasal drops. all bordatella vaccines i've seen/given have gone up the nose. |
phew thanks! sorry to be such a worry bee! |
buttercup just had the same shot today and his vet did inform me that he'll feel uncomfortable and the area might have a little bump for about 3 weeks and he also whimpers or run away when he knows we're about to pick him up |
tiggy was fine the next day! thanks guys for everything! |
