Please Pray For Baby Blessing
 
I really need everyone that reads this to pray for our precious Baby Blessing, she was fine but then when she ate she started throwing up over and over, I just got a new bag of Royal Canine 33 yesterday and gave her some, oh, I pray she will be ok. We are off to the vets. I don't want anything to happen to her. Patti and Jack

Oh no... i'm so sorry to hear Baby isnt well, maybe it's the food thats not agreeing with her, poor girl.

Oh Patti I'm so sorry to hear Baby's not well. I will keep her in my prayers. The vets can usually stop that pretty quick.

We got home from the vet little after nine tonight. The vet seems to think that I got hold of a bad batch of dry food, of which I just bought yesterday and
after I opened and fed Baby Blessing this morning all this happened. Same brand of food she had been on.What a scarey scarey ordeal, they rushed her right in at the vets and got her, IV and we take her back in the morning for recheck. As I held her on the way to the vets and prayed I told Jack I could feel the prayers of others going for her. We sure want to thank you all for praying for our Baby Blessing. I am going to sit up in the recliner tonight and try to keep awake so I can be aware if she needs me. She still isn't ok. Again thank you all from the bottom of our hearts, this little one has become to mean so much to us.

There is another post '3 sick yorkies' that could be related to contaminated food. They were feeding Iams, what was your baby eating?

It is the Royal Canin 33 Puppy Dry Formula. This was a new bag just opened,
same brand and formula she had been use to.

My breeder gave me 5 days worth of Eukanuba Small Breed Puppy. I bought a bag, and when the five days worth ran out, I opened the bag, same procedure, amount, etc. and BOOM, the worst diarrhea on earth. Pure liquid. They were 12 weeks old, and were standing up against the wall letting it go. Vet meds, and in about 3 days, were back to normal.

It can happen with the food, bad batches, I mean.

I have since swithced to Chicken Soup for Puppy Lovers' Soul, and now to Wellness, and I buy a 13 or 15 lb. bag instead of a smaller one.

Off topic - BTW, Chicken Soup is made at the same plant where that Diamond Food was made that caused all those "toxic fungus" deaths. When I heard that, I switched to Wellness.

I am so sorry your puppies went through that. What a night mare.
Really a rough two days here, we are going to be ever so thankful when she gets over this. We didn't waste any time getting her to the vet, she picked her up and had her on IV in a flash. So scarey. I had to call the vet again this afternoon and if there isn't a great change by morning we have to take her back for another round of IV. She had the diahrea today, the vet said it is working its way out of her system so prayerfully she will be over this by tomorrow morning.

Oh, I am so sorry to hear about your sick baby. I hope she will recover as wonderfully as Scout did. As soon as the "yucky stuff" made it's way through his system and he got some IV fluids he was right as rain. He is back to his old ornery self, like I'm sure Baby Blessing will be too!

After three days, she finally looks like she is back to almost being her
self. That sure was a night mare. She don't want her Mommie out of her sight, Jack said she cries everytime I leave the room, I was so frightened that we was going to loose her Thursday, so I think the past few days I've over done it on keeping her right close to me. That's ok as soon as she's totally ok she won't care where her Mommie is :) Thanks for the many prayers from YT'ers. We know God heard each and everyone. That new stroller the tooth fairy bought :happyboun was so handy, it was through out the house put her favorite blankies in it and made a nice bed so she could be near me while I did my chores. I love those strollers. Highly recommend them. Learnt one thing, when I take her out in it I am going to have her harness and leash ready to put on her from the back zip opening, as they can jump out the front real easy, so I hope others that have gotten them will think on that before using it. I'm so glad she's feeling better. It is so scary when they get sick. YT prayers are the greatest.
