Finnegan ate a calcium tablet My 11month old yorkie, finnegan, ate a chewable calcium tablet. Any concerns??? |
Not certain, but Paddy has been on calcium supplements through her pregnancy and nursing of her pups. Check with your vet in the morning, but I wouldn't think it was an emergency. Just my thoughts...good luck to you! P.S. LOVE Finnegan's name - what a cutie! |
oh no. i hope he's okay. |
i believe calcium is safe at under 500mg per 2.2 pounds for a puppy and 259mg per 2.2 pounds for an adult. how much did she consume and what does she weigh? |

I hope that Finnegan is doing just fine - I wanted to type a few quick words, because as I was browsing the forum and came across this post I fondly remembered my Finnegan - the bichon I had growing up, and the only dog I've ever had aside from Chewie.. Wishing you all the best with Finnegan! :animal-pa Chewie and Christina |
