I'm so sorry your pup is sick. Bless her heart. I had to put my Pom of 15years down in Feb due to losts of problems. She was in pain and even though I did not want to let her go, it was the best for her. The yellow flem type stuff sounds like bile to me. My pups would do that when their tummies were empty. I can't see how urine can back up and come out the mouth. Good luck with your baby and I am sending prayers your way. |
I'm so sad that you and your family are going through this difficult time....and your poor baby....how tough it is when they're ill and they can't tell us what's wrong. I agree wholeheartedly with those who said that he's throwing up bile. I went through this with my terrier mix that we had before Topher. She would get mild bouts of pancreatitis and vomit bile. It had a very strong odor (very strong!) and sometimes yellow in color. I hope you find the answer to his problems and that he's able to recouperate. On the other hand, please don't feel guilty...you have done a wonderful job with your baby and have been a beautiful mom to him. I would sit down with a vet you trust and ask hiim/her honestly, bluntly, what his chances are of a full recovery....and what they would do if they were in your position. hugs |
I want to answer you actual question,When do you give up?,when your heart tells you its the right thing to do,there are many of our babies on the rainbow bridge waiting for a new playmate, but you need to know its all in the heart,I have had to make this choice, and its real hard, but when the heart says its the right thing then you don't need to ask,YOU WILL NOW :aimeeyork |
Having had to put down a dog, who had been a longtime companion, about eight weeks ago, you will know when the time is right. When it seems as if your friend is in more pain than pleasure it will be the time to let him go. My prayers and thoughts are with you. |
