Soft Tissue Injury We just came back from the vet. My reg vet was in today (thank God). He took x-rays it turns out Mellie has a soft tissue injury to her elbow. For now he is treating it with anti inflammatory prescription. He will see her in a week and see if it is improving. If not he will take additional x -rays with her sedated. (I was so proud of my little girl they said she sat pretty still but jumped when she heard the picture being taken), and try quartizone treatments. |
Glad to hear Mellie is feeling better.. hope she continues to improve :) Hugs Gina and Gucci |
Here's hoping Mellie is all better soon! Oscar is sending Sloppy Sugar her way! These things can take time to heal...you and your vet need to work really closely...glad you got a good one! Keeping her still will be the hard part if he calls for her to be so. Keep us posted on her progress! |
Mellie... We are wishing you a speedy recovery. :getwellso |
I just asked about Mellie on your other thread and then saw this one! So glad that she's been to the vet and hopefully will be feeling better quickly!!! Maddie sends kisses!! |
bless her little heart. I am glad to hear that its not more serious! Thank God! We will keep her in our prayers! |
Well it's great to know it's not more serious! Poor baby I bet it hurts though!! But HOORAY, no breaks!! :p |
Like Mother, like Daughter!!! ;) I'm sure she'll be fine once the swelling goes down. Meanwhile you'll have to hug her and love on her and carry her everywhere! :p |
I hope that she gets better soon! |
I am just curious - do you mean Cortisone treatments? I know I have found Quartisone on the Internet - but only typed by lay people. Aren't these all misspellings? Couldn't find Quartisone on any med lists...... Anyway - maybe one of you can teach me something new...I'm a medical transcriptionist - that's why I'm wondering about this. Thanks, Carol Jean |
