I am so happy that Gucci's is doing better. I know you won't rest until she is completely out of the woods. You are in my prayers! I hope the heat gets fixed it;'s the last thing you need.

I'm so sorry about Gucci's horrible experience! I have been off for a few days and this happens! I'm praying for you both right now - and there should be a LAW about vets having to do something for animals. Like take postdated checks or some kind of payment schedule or something. That is horrible! I don't know what I would do under those circumstances either. Being on limited income is hell.

Sabrina and Elvira send their yippy love and want you to be careful Gucci for a few months so you don't get internal bruises or something. Be good to and for your mommy. Elvira just learned to jump off the couch ( she thinks! scares me!) and she said to tell you don't do it - ask mommy to help.

Gucci Update
 
Gucci seems to be recuperating well. She is still sleeping a little more than usual but I guess that's fine. I keep checking on her to make sure that there are no signs of internal bleeding, so far so good.
Thank you everyone for keeping my girl in your prayers.
I have being feeling down but I have to thank everyone for all the fun we have yesterday. I really needed that. ;)

Gucci sends lots of puppy kisses and hugs.

I'm so glad to hear that she's recovering, wow, what a scare. She's lucky to have such a loving yorkie mom and family!

Thanks for the Gucci update, that is such a relief she is doing so much better now. Yoda sends lots of licks and kisses to Gucci and hopes she has a great weekend! :)

This is better news every day Marie ....I'm so glad she's ok and feeling better... :) What a BIG big scare and she's such a little trooper.

I am so happy to hear that Gucci is improving! Glad you're not finding any signs of bleeding or bruising. Hopefully, she didn't get too much of the poison, and her clotting tests will come back good on her next visit! Just make sure, when they do take her off the Vit K, that you keep checking her. My vets had me take Toby off for two days before the test and as soon as the results came back in, I had to put him back on it. Last test came back just fine, and he was as onery as ever. Just keep giving her lots of loving, and keep us all updated!

The vet called wed nite to check on her and he is happy that she is doing so well. I asked him about stopping the vit K 2 days before I go for the test on April 8 and he said yes. She is being sleeping a lot thou. Otherwise she is ok. I also hope the results come back normal. I will definitely will update everyone.

Sherry Thank you so much for the hugs for my Gucci. Thankfully my girls seems to be on the mends. Im so gratefull because everyone has being incredible, very caring and helpful. According to the super the heat should be working but the landlord has it on a timer and it doesnt stay long enough. So That is why my apt feels so cold. A lot of tenants had complained but nothing has be done as of yet. Monday Im calling again to complain, but to be honest the management doesnt do a thing. They just want to get the rent on time. Hopefully the weather will be nice this weekend and it wont feel as cold. Thank you so much for the offer. Gucci send you puppy kisses and hugs.

He sounds like an a-hole to me!! Are you allowed to have space heaters or anything? They can be scary, too. You hear about them starting so many fires.

Thankfully it hasn't been SO terribly cold in the day, but at night it really drops! I think they said it would be in the 50s for most of the weekend. Hope you'll be okay.
