does my puppy have a cold? My yorkie who has almost 4 months has been sneezing quite often, to make matter worse he vomitted twice already within two hours. He doesn't seem as active, he walks instead of running nowadays and he barely eats his dry food. what should i do?? is he hungry? |
You should take him to the vet. Not eating, vomiting and loss of energy is always a concern and hearing those symptoms I don't think even a vet would give you advise without seeing him first. I hope he feels better soon. |
I hope that didn't sound harsh. I just know these little guys can crash so fast and think it is better safe than sorry. I would also give him Nutrical (karo syrup or honey if you don't have that) to keep his blood sugar up. |
NutriCal is wonderful to give at this time.....definitely call the vet. My vet said that sometimes if my little guy isn't feeling well and not eating well, to give alittle cooked rice in his food or maybe alittle boiled chicken. She also told me that some cooked hamburger meat with rice too might help. But you can always call the vet and see what they say. I normally take mine in no matter what the symptoms are! hee,hee - I'm a paranoid freak when it comes to my Yorkie!!!! |
