Prayers for Gussie too!
 
It's almost 2 AM and my little Gussie -17 yrs and 10 months is, I'm sure leaving us. He had a good day and active.....but I had only been in bed about 45 min. and heard him bark. He's just a rag but is comfortable laying on my lap. I just would like prayers that he has a peaceful crossing over. It' so hard.

I Don't Feel So Alone. I Thought I Was Losing Him About 10 Days Ago...but He Rallied. Like You Said .....if It's His Time.

Your not alone , We are right here with you. Give him a big hug for me.
I know how hard it is I lost My first Yorkie. Only I decided to let the vet go ahead and take her. and I have felt so guilty about it. But I could not stand to see her suffer and thats what she was doing. She had a very hard life.

Gussie Is Gone
 
Gussie Passed On About 2:30 And My Prayers Were Answered That He Went Very Peacefully. In Fact He Was Gone And I Didn't Even Know It For A Bit. Thanks To All Of You. What A Gift In Our Life He Was! My Husband And I Are Setting Here And Just Saying We Are So Thankful We Didn't Have To Take Him In. We've Had Others And Have Had To Do That Too.....but Gus Wasn't Suffering.....he Was Just Old And Very Tired.

Oh I am so very sorry, I know what you are going through, we lost our precious one in Nov. that was the longest and hardest night of my life. I sure am praying for you and Gussie, your Gussie is being comforted with you being right there for him. This life is so hard at times but God will give us the strength to endure the difficult times we must go through, if we but only look to HIM.

I know it was hard and very sad. But now he can rest and you have all the great memories to hold on to. Bless his little heart.....

I am so sorry for your loss. I'm certain that he had a wonderful life and even though you will miss him, he knew it was his time. All those years have given you such precious memories of your Gus. I pray that God will bless and comfort you all.

I think it is incredible that you felt moved to share this time with us here at YT. You knew you would be able to find the support to help you through this, and sure enough, the kind folks above were there for you.

Keep your memories close by, and make your plans to meet your Gussie some day at the Rainbow Bridge.

I'm so sorry that you have lost your precious little one. May God's loving arms wrap you in this time of you loss. May you soon have only the wonderful memories of the times you spent together. Always remember only YOU could have loved him better than anyone else and he knew that.

Oh I'm so sorry for your loss. How wonderful to have had him for 17+ years, that is what we all pray for. And the fact that he passed with you, in your lap, how loved and secure he must have felt, I can only imagine your emptiness now. bless you and Gussie.
