She is 19.2 oz at 10 weeks. Started vomiting (tiny tiny amounts) Friday. Went to vet. was fine for vet. gave fluids and anti nausea. Said rest gut until at least 8 Sat am. She wouldn't eat. Last night I mashed a few grains of rice and boiled 1 teaspoon ground chicken. Ate and seemed better. This am she had 3 diarreah spots on pad Scarred to death Please help. |
Poor baby. Sounds like she needs another Vet visit with tests to find source of her diarrhea. Praying for her and you. |
I’m sorry to hear about your puppy. I’ve never bred my dogs so I don’t know all the ins and outs that can happen but I would go back to the vet as soon as possible. Hopefully someone with more experience will get online and provide more information. I’ve only had to deal with a puppy with Parvo, which may be something they test for if there is ANY possibility of exposure. |
I have to ask what caused the 8 week old puppy to die? Could parvo be a possibility? Are you giving nutrical or similar supplement to keep sugar up? Was any genetic testing done to make sure there couldn't be something genetically wrong with the pups? |
So is there any update on this? |
Since she was new, she may not have realized the delay in posting so she may not have come back or perhaps the puppy didn’t make it. Either way, it’s unfortunate.🙁 |
