Susan78 | 01-24-2018 01:01 PM | Proin Question My 6.1 pound yorkie was put on Proin Dec. 26 ,17 because she was wetting her bed. Previously she was on estradiol for three months but the wetting came back and it is a dangerous drug. Anyways she has been on Proin just about a month now and she started to wet again. She has the 25 mg. tablets which I cut into four pieces. She gets a quarter tablet in the morning and a quarter tablet at night. She also is being treated for calcium oxalate crystals. We had her on R.C. S/ O hydrolyzed because she is allergic to chicken. She has been on this food for six months and my vet would do an ultra sound and say no more crystals. I am in Arizona now and took her in and they did an ultra sound and took a sterile urine sample. She was full of calcium oxalate crystals and they said only a sterile sample of urine is what she should of had. Now she was taken off her food and put on another and we go back Feb. 10 for a check up. Would these calcium oxalate crystals cause bed wetting? My baby will be eight years old in April and we have had pee problems after she was spayed. Any ideas? |
