I am so sorry for your loss. Please be comforted by the thought that she is wagging her tail and waiting for you at Rainbow Bridge. RIP Tess.

It is a hard decision, I also had to put one down with Kidney issues. Your Vet is your guide you want to do what is in her best interest and suffering and pain to me is not okay. Good Luck and praying for you.

My first yorkie, Teddy, died at age 14 of kidney failure. We had him since he was 9 weeks old. So hard. I swore then I'd never get another Yorkie. I was heart broken. He had gone with me everywhere and always loved to see new people and make them happy with his sunny nature. It took me 2 years to get Gidget but I don't regret getting another Yorkie. I did say, though, that I wouldn't get another male. There was no way I could even hint at the fact that I was trying to replace Teddy. My heart goes out to you and I know how sad your days are going to be for a while. But cherish the times you had and keep them in your heart always. I'll never forget Teddy but I'm giving lots of love to Gidget.

I am so sorry you had to let Tess go but remember you did what was best for her. She loved you just as much you loved her and she will always be in your heart. I hope Tess meets my little Keally when she crossed the bridge then they can be friends and run free til they see us again. Take one day at a time remember Tess is looking down at you wanting her mom to be happy again. Take care of. Susan

My heart is breaking for you. It is so hard when we have to say goodbye to our babies. I lost my Heidi just a few day shy of 18 years. She fought acute renal failure for 3 1/2 years. I know she and a lot of others were at the bridge to help and guide your sweet Tess. Remember she will always be with you in your heart.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my Tiffany at 15 to kidney disease. Find comfort in doing what was best for her even though it is one of the hardest things to do. My heart goes out to you. You are not alone.
