Lucy fell out of the Tahoe truck door. Please help My little puppy Yorkie that is 6 months old and she's about 1 pound and a half fell out of the Tahoe truck door when I opened it when she hit the floor she get on her side and she just laid there didn't move had a Blank Stare was very rigid when I picked it up but she seems to be ok after about 3 minutes of being rigid and the Blank Stare and the clenched jaw I really don't have a lot of money to take her to the vet should she go to the vet or is there something that I can do or watch for please help |
You need to get this puppy to the vet ASAP. There can be an injury you can not see. If you can not afford a vet maybe you should surrender your puppy to a shelter that can give her a home. Dogs are like us they need vet care. Please take your baby in and get her checked and post how she is doing. Susan |
Yes please get her to a vet ASAP. serious internal damage is easy to inflict on one so tiny. If you don't have the money put it on a credit card. Her health is more important than anything. If you don't have a credit card, please consider what Susan said. Just please get her checked out or let someone else who is able the opportunity to care for her. Having a dog is also a financial responsibility too, which is very important to consider when deciding to give a pet a lifelong home. Keep us posted. |
Any time a dog has a possible head injury they NEED to see a vet. Brain swelling can cause scar tissue & that can lead to life long seizures if not treated promptly. |

I am sorry for your baby's misadventure....praying everything is alright. My cousin's friend had a yorkie that jumped from her truck door when she stopped to unload something from the back of her pick up...her baby did not survive the fall. Praying for your little one....and dont think she wont do THAT again, because she will! Watch her closely when you have her in the car. |

This puppy should've gone to the vet immediately. If you can't afford vet care for this puppy, then what is the plan to care for it...? In my opinion, if you can't afford vet care - then it's best to give up the poor kiddo, who is dependent upon you for its care, in all aspects. |
Thank you so much for everything .. I indeed rushed her straight to our vet and had her get a complete work up and happy to say that she is doing fine. CT scan was NEG xrays were NEG LUNGS are clear vet thinks she got the wind knocked out and was simply terrified. I love my doggies as if thgey were my own human kids. no money is important when they need it. I also was approved for DOG INSURANCE for LUCY and my 5 yr old NINA and her companion NIKO... Thank You again |
Thank you for the up date. so HAPPY your little baby is ok. I had a jump out of vehicle baby, I made sure all my pups were secured to interior of vehicle. PLEASE secure that baby so she cannot jump out again. |
