Welcome to Yorkie Talk. Sorry to hear you think your pup might be having seizures. Seizures are not common and definitely require vet attention immediately. There are many possible causes, including liver shunt, which is high on the list of possible congenital problems for Yorkies. I would capture one of the episodes on video if possible and see the vet. |
Any suspicion of seizures in a puppy need a full medical workup. In addition, young puppies who have seizures can have them due to any number of brain problems that affect the breed or they can be of unknown origin. Please do not ignore them. Seizures can progress and lead to death in some cases. |
