babysitting my parents yorkie and this happens.... he is about 10ish years old, and for the first time ever he seems to have lost feeling/ partial use of his back legs, he has also been having minor seizures, is this normal part of aging? they come home tonite, i'd like to have some info to tell them... |
No, this is not a normal part of aging and you need to get this kiddo to a vet ASAP. Do you know where to take him? How is he this morning? |
This sounds like it could be a spinal injury - at least the rear end lameness part. Time is of the essence! Minutes matter in this situation. Please get this baby to a vet this morning!! Good luck :( |
Praying this baby is ok. Hope you got him to a vet. Please update when you can. |
Any new? |
This worries me because it seems like the same symptoms Tinky has before we knew she had insulinoma. She has not had a seizure, but lost the ability to use her back legs. However, seizures are very common with insulinoma - which creates very low blood sugar. Any update? |
