Great news! What a scare! |
Just read this whole thread and am so happy for you and Chester, considering how scary that all sounded. What a horrible week it's been for you! CT is no joke but as I understand it is usually manageable. Just wondering, was little Chester having no symptoms or anything prior to the vet noticing breathing problems during anesthesia? I can just picture you hollering and celebrating outside in the parking lot - letting out all of the tension and fear!!! Love it! I'm soooo happy for both of you. Now, get some rest - 13 hours of work after the week you've had?!?! |
The power of prayer prevails ! |
Awesome news!!! My George had a symptom free collapsed trachea. He once had an issue with his oxygen level during a dental....my vet was very concerned. Anyway, the next time he needed one, I went to a vet specialist for it and he did just fine. They honestly didn't do anything different but I felt better doing it there due to the fact that they have more support if a dog gets in trouble while under. SO happy that you got such wonderful news!! :) |
So relieved for you and Chester. |
The strange thing is he doesnt have very many symptoms of this, very little coughing, but Im so happy every day I have with my boy is a blessing. I have never been this attached to anything in my life, he is truly the best thing that ever happened to me |
