Bloated, shaking and clearly uncomfortable My yorkie is four years old and a little over weight(mostly because y one year old son feeds him) this morning after I took him outside he started acting very strange. He was cowering and cuddling up to my feet (while I was changing babies diaper) at first I thought he had done something he wasn't supposed to because that's what he does when he knows he did something wrong. Then I realized that he was whining and shaking, it looked like he was trying to squat but he was also putting his head down as if to throw up. He is also very bloated (more so then usual) Could it be constipation? |
Please get that poor baby to the vet ASAP! |
*undate* My wife was holding him and gently patting him on the back, this produced a burp. Now he seems mostly back to normal. |
Dogs are not babies and back patting to produce a burp is your solution. If your baby is feeding him it might be pancreatitis which could be a life threatening illness. Please make a visit to your vet today before they close and you are forced to use the ER VET this weekend. |
With a small child that likes to feed stuff to the pup, I would also be worried about just what the pup might have eaten and if there could be a blockage. |
