Need help! Puppy in trouble. Cleft Palate Hi there. My baby gave birth last Friday. One of them has a cleft palate. We've been tube feeding him and his weight fluctuates but he's slowly gaining some weight. I really want to save him. He is so beautiful I feel I am not equipped to save him. Just now mom was missing from her box and I found her later in another room with the puppy in trouble and she was cleaning him up so I think mom also knows he's in trouble and this is heartbreaking. Do you know any organizations that can help with palate puppies that will take them in and help save them. I really want this puppy to have a good chance at life. I'm afraid I may not be doing a great job and I'm so scared that he won't make it. Please help! I live in the OC area. |
I dont and google didnt bring up any in your immediate area. bumping and will keep searching. sending many prayers the baby makes it. |

This organization takes in pup's and helps them. BUT you have to keep in mind that you would be surrendering this pup to them. https://www.facebook.com/LoveForMiaCleftPalateChihuahua |

I pray they can help you. Just so you know they do take pup's from all over as they have members every where. The Mia Foundation | Rochester, NY 14612 |
So sorry to hear about your baby.....how extensive is the cleft palate? I have a friend that raised one with a cleft palate, and he is doing very well today....he is around 12 years old! Thanks Vicki for the foundation that can help with this issue! (Good to keep on hand for future use!) |
I'm sure you are so busy right now, but please keep us posted! My heart goes out to your little one.... |
Just checking in to see if your pup is doing okay. I have a six year old cleftie whom I raised since birth. He is doing great. It's a lot of work, but worth it! |
