Away from home and vet need help! We took Sophie for her walk this morning and she was having a wonderful time but then all of a sudden she started throwing up. Can anyone tell me what to give her and how much to settle her stomach? |
Away from home and vet need help! We took Sophie for her walk this morning and she was having a wonderful time but then all of a sudden she started throwing up. Can anyone tell me what to give her and how much to settle her stomach? This was reposted here hoping for a quick response. |
Do you know why she is vomiting? If she vomits too much, she could become dehydrated, which is dangerous. Best thing is to see your vet if the vomiting hasn't stopped. Find a vet. |

Thanks everyone for your response... I called our vet at home and he said it would be best to get a vet here to take a look at her. We took her to Demopolis Animal Clinic in Demopolis , AL. They were wonderful with her and they checked her over and said she had not dehydrated and her temp was normal and not sign of any pain in her stomach. They figured it was just something she ate. They gave her a anti-nausea shot and pills for the next couple days and she will be fine. She appears to feel a little better already. Thanks again all. |

Scary and glad she was seen by a vet and given some treatment. Hope things go well from now on. |
